Commercial real estate prices increased by 81.7 percent

According to the Commercial Real Estate Price Index (TGFE) data published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), commercial real estate prices increased by 81.7 percent in nominal terms in the 1st quarter compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
Commercial Real Estate Price Index (TGFE) increased by 12 percent in the first quarter of 2024 compared to the previous quarter, 81.7 percent in nominal terms and 8.9 percent in real terms on an annual basis.
TGFE data for the first quarter of this year was announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).

The Shop Price Index, which increased by 11.7 percent in the first quarter of Turkey compared to the previous quarter, increased by 82.8 percent in nominal terms and 9.6 percent in real terms compared to the same period of the previous year.
The Office Price Index, which increased by 13 percent in the first quarter compared to the previous quarter, recorded a nominal increase of 75.1 percent and a real increase of 5 percent compared to the same period in 2023.

THE MOST INCREASE IS IN ANKARA
Looking at the TGFE change for three major provinces, in the first quarter of 2024, the index increased by 11.2 percent, 13.1 percent and 11.4 percent, respectively, in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir compared to the previous quarter.
Index values increased by 69.1 percent, 92.6 percent and 81.3 percent in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, respectively, compared to the same quarter of the previous year.
